Planning and strategy
The Dry Cast Stone Company are specialists in the installation and maintenance of Dry cast stone and we know that much of the success of a project depends on the attention to detail which is applied from the very earliest stages of the process. Although Dry cast stone is often largely decorative, being used as lintels, sills and coping stones, but it does have a structural load to bear very often and so components will need be able to be strong enough to withstand the loads the building will impose upon them. This is the point at which integral reinforcement has to be designed as it must be compatible with the mould shape and compaction requirements. Dry cast stone is usually used as it comes out of the mould, with the exception of the removal of any burrs and protuberances, but semi-decorative finishes can be added by the pouring of an initial layer in the mould. www.Drycaststone.co.uk is also fully supported by professional indemnity insurance.
The units of Dry cast stone can be made quite quickly and as soon as they are ready, we can begin installation. We arrange delivery of finished items when the construction team give us the go-ahead; timing is essential in any building project, to avoid time wasted in downtime. The installation will be overseen by a dedicated Dry Cast Stone Company project manager, backed by an experienced team of fitters; the whole team will, as far as is possible, have been on board since the beginning of the project.
Follow-up and review and remedial works
The Dry Cast Stone Company oversees the quality of all manufactured units they will be using in the installation process, achieving high standards by only working with the very best manufacturers in the sector. If there is ever a hitch, we promise to put things right because quality is our watchword. A complete review of the project will be kept on record by the Dry Cast Stone Company and a copy is available for the ultimate owner of the building, who could find it useful should any work be required in future. We will also revisit any project later if remedial work is needed because of other work entered into after completion. By using the same matrix material and the same mould, we can usually reinstall a new unit and make it absolutely indistinguishable from the originals used in the primary build. This is particularly useful in extension work.
